Rising Downfall - Chapter 5 - Freedom
Freedom
How long has it been? 3 years? I think so. Man, how time flies when you’re having fun planning an escape from this place that was once call hell. It was better when you were discussing it with friends.
Sly, Shadow, and Python acted like my bodyguards. We looked out for each other. I wasn’t picked on as much, and if I was, this place would be their grave. By the way, my tooth did grow back. I also wore the necklace that Sly made; I never took it off.
The time had come a few months later. It was time to escape, one way or another. The whole prisoners were in on it. It was now or never.

I don’t remember anything after I had passed out, only to awaken to a major sting in my side. I shouted out in pain as I sat up and looked to see my sister.
“Galena?” I asked looking a bit confused.
“Well, good morning to you, too,” she replied. “Hold still, I’m not done putting the bandages on you.”
“Huh?” I looked down to see my belly wrapped in bandages, covering up my wound. I looked around to see that I was in the Hawktown Hospital. “What…what happened?”
“Well, we found you in the f

Another year of intense training went by in the blink of an eye. In this short year, I could feel myself getting stronger by the minute. I was even strong enough to not only lift up boulders that were 10 times my size, but I could also lift up my father. I felt like the happiest dragon on the planet...or so I thought.
As months and months went by, my mother was getting very ill lately. How did this occur, I have no idea. Mostly, she's been working non-stop around the house and outside of the village, providing back-up as the nurse for the Hawk Warriors, cooking and cleaning around the house and assisting me w

Child's Play
At my age now, I went through some pretty cool training with my father. He taught me the basics of things: Speed, Combat, anything that'll help me in the future. He even showed me how to use weapons. I was a natural with a dagger. I wanted a sword badly, but I wasn't big enough for one. It sucks being a shrimp at a young age. I was also taught how to use a slingshot. I, particularly, didn't like this weapon. I kept smacking myself in the face with the string like it was a paddleball, so I requested something more...practical. I wanted a boomerang. These mysterious objects are awesome!
Mother taught me di

Brother’s Curse
During the times when I was growing up, I was born and raised in a small, peaceful town called “Hawktown”. This city was consisted of everything imaginable. It is a “free society”. It has its dragons, wolves, foxes, panthers, pretty much anything mammal related. It has its soldiers and its king. The soldiers here were called “The Hawk Warriors”. They train day and night and they serve the king to protect this town. They are the best of the best. They must be the best. Their enemy, “The Masked Eagles”, reside in the opposite direction in what they call “Th

I was stranded…no food…no water… I had to find shelter soon, or I’m not going to make it. I have taken a bullet to my side and it still hurts. I managed to stop the bleeding by finding an old rag in the plane crash. I’ve been wondering around this wasteland for what seemed like days. I could still die out here. It would be either from dehydration or getting eaten by vultures or some other carnivore. Finally, I found two stones perched on top of each other. The one on top was much wider so it peeked over the bottom one by just a bit, providing some shade. I crawled over to the shade and curled up into a fettle
I was once guilbwb. Due to drama and other things, I left dA. Because of a friend of mine, I decided to come back to dA but things will not be the same. So I'm still my usual self but more mature than before. I still like to draw and such so that hasn't changed.
If anybody knows that Kelly Rowland song, "Motivation" (I doubt almost anybody does), I need/want to be motivated again. Truthfully, I don't think anything is wrong with me... It's just how I am around people. Here's the deal...and I'm really tired of repeating myself so this will be the last time I say this:
I am not depressed. I haven't thought about killing myself or anything like that. I would never bring harm to myself unless I'm being a derp and be clumsy and bonk my toe against something. Here is the reason for my mood: Quietness. It's always too damn quiet every time I am around people. I don't like it when it's really quiet. But thi
